Christian Gibson For some of us it’s been a while since we were at school, but who’s to say when you finish school you finish learning?
The Glenroy Neighbourhood Learning Centre (GNLC) is a non-profit adult education organization, they are community owned and operated and offer all types of learning. There is a range of great courses available and on-site childcare available for those who are parents but would still like to learn.
The learning centre is located in central Glenroy within the new Community Centre, just some of the courses available are:
• ESL, including Northern AMEP classes
• Adult literacy and numeracy including the LLNP
• Computers
• Health and Fitness programs
• VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied learning)
• Volunteer training
